We are bringing back our BIG Christmas in the City Party for 2024! Volunteer opportunities are now available – we hope to you see you there! View the opportunities!

Christmas in the City Party: Our signature event, an all-out extravaganza for families currently in shelters

Over the years, we found that hosting a blow-out December holiday party just wasn’t enough for us. Today, we run other events for children and families experiencing homelessness or otherwise in need.

JAKE’S TOY MANIA: toy distribution event for families in need will be held in downtown Boston in late December, 2024. Families must register in advance to receive gifts for children 16 and under. We have a limited need for corporate groups or other organizations to volunteer for Jake’s Toy Mania. Christmas in the City 2024 is in full swing!

The holiday season is finally here and operations at Christmas in the City are in FULL swing! Our team – made up of 100% volunteers – is all hands on deck to work to give back to our community members in need this season.  Here’s a little look at what we are planning and how we can use your help:
