Although we will not be holding our traditional large public events this year, we will be bringing holiday “comfort and joy” to many families living in local congregate shelters, and to many other families in need of assistance for November and December holidays.

We are in need of toy donations, but for 2021, we will not be needing any volunteers.

Since 1989, bringing comfort & joy to Boston-area families experiencing homelessness and poverty.

Our Mission

Despite COVID, Our Mission Stays the Same! We’re a 100% volunteer organization devoted to helping Boston-area families experiencing homelessness and poverty. From our holiday extravaganza for thousands living in shelters, to “playing Santa” for others in need; from Thanksgiving and Halloween events to our annual job fair and year-round help for families transitioning from homelessness, we’ve always been there for those in need. While our major public events are again canceled for 2021, we plan on being fully back in 2022.

We're not quite fully back, but we're getting there!

100% goes to kids and families

We do 100% of everything with volunteers – 15-20 managing the mission year-round, and traditionally 2,500 for events – making sure that 100% goes to those we support. Many volunteers were once kids at the party and come back to give back. Our event volunteers return again and again, and many tell us it’s the best day of the year. We were hoping to be fully back in 2021, but with covid we're not. So for 2021, we are not in need of any volunteers. Check back in October 2022 when we hope that things are back to normal - with lots of volunteer opportunities.

I love helping families understand that no matter what life is throwing at you HOPE is not that far and can come in different shapes, forms and colors.
