Fundraiser at the Seaport on December 7th. (You’ll want to be there!)

Once again, we’ll be kicking off the Christmas in the City Holiday Season with a fundraiser, on December 7th, from 5:30 to 8:30 at the Seaport Hotel

The event will feature an auction, with items that include a one-of-a-kind Christmas wreath decorated to honor the memory of Christmas in the City co-founder, our beloved Jake Kennedy. We’ll also have raffle prizes, a cash bar, and nibbles courtesy of our wonderful old friends at the Seaport Hotel.

And speaking of wonderful old friends, leading up to the evening event, Felger & Mazz from 98.5 the SPORTS HUB will broadcast LIVE from the Seaport Hotel from 2:00 until 5:30 pm when the Patriots Pre-Game Show will begin. (Our event lasts until 8:30 pm, but you’ll get out in plenty of time to watch the Pats take on the Steelers. Or not. Sigh…)

If you could bring a new, unwrapped toy from CITC – Most Wanted Toys – 2023, we will be more than grateful to you!

Here’s what you need to know about what we’re doing this year:

While we’re still not back to hosting our big party, we’re still taking care of those in our community most in need of some comfort and joy, especially at holiday time.

Through CITC: Delivered, we’ll be bringing wishlist gifts to 1,500 kids currently living in Boston-area shelters. Through Jake’s Toy Mania, we’ll be providing presents for well over 1,000 families in need. Last year, we gave out 10,000+ toys. This year, we’ll be needing even more.

So come on, join us on the 7th at the Seaport. We know you want to! (And not to guilt anyone, we know Jake would want you to.)
