Attention Boston Businesses!

Looking for a fulfilling and fun team building event? Come help with Christmas in the City’s Jake’s Toy Mania, our annual toy giveaway. Every year, we set up a magical toy shop, where under-served individuals can select toys free-of-charge for their children. We are looking for corporate volunteers to help staff Santa’s Workshop by checking in guests, restocking toys, and helping guests through the gift receiving process. Last year, more than a thousand families in need were able to receive toys and clothes for their kids – over 3,000 of them! This is a great opportunity for corporate or community team building, connecting with the city of Boston and spreading holiday cheer to families! Volunteer opportunities are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on December 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22 and are all at 34 Bromfield Street (near Downtown Crossing).

To take part, we kindly request a minimum donation of $500, a group of at least 4 volunteers, and at least a 2 hour time commitment.

Speak a second language? We are always in need of people who can speak the following: Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Haitian Creole, and American Sign Language. Please let us know if anyone in your party speaks another language!
